Multiple sandings can be done to the desired level of smoothness. Apply Mountain in multiple coats until there is a smooth hard film. If a rubbing oil type of floor is desired simply use Rainforest Sealer. NanoTech can be used as the initial coat to prohibit absorption of finish. However, the floor will be harder and more durable if it absorbs as much finish as possible. On earthen floors this can be significant because of the materials absorbent nature.
